ACE Launches Quality Matters Website to Facilitate Discussion

MIDLOTHIAN, VA—Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence (ACE) is excited to announce it has launched a dedicated website for its Quality Matters newsletter, a platform which will facilitate clinician discussion on the latest topics concerning quality in cardiology.

The Quality Matters news brief complements ACE's mission to further quality standards and quality improvement in cardiology around the world. The new website, located at cvqualitymatters.org, will better highlight and raise the profile of the newsletter's valuable insights into quality cardiovascular care. The platform also allows for commenting and discussion on our news briefs, which we hope will stimulate quality-focused discussion and collaboration among cardiovascular care leaders.

"We are creating this forum for sharing information and stimulating discussion of quality care separate and apart from our accreditation platform," says ACE's Chief Operating Officer, Peggy McElgunn, Esq. "While the discussion is certain to inform ACE's work, we don't want our concentration on quality standards and accreditation to hamper discussion among professionals regarding best practices, innovations and interesting approaches that can influence quality."

The new website features three primary topic areas, concerning: quality review and leadership, cardiac catherization and percutaneous coronary intervention, and cross-specialty clinical insights. It launches, today, with our latest news brief featuring insight into physician leadership and creating a quality culture in cardiology programs.

ACE LogoAccreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence is an independent, physician-led organization that evaluates and monitors facilities providing cardiovascular care. Accreditation awarded by ACE means that the highest quality standards for cardiovascular and endovascular care are met by doctors and staff caring for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures.
