Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence presents new accreditation science, today, at the American Heart Association Quality of Care and Outcomes Research Meeting and Scientific Sessions 2021.
The poster session, "Accreditation Identifies Operator Variability and Gaps" shares operator-specific data from 2702 cases to illustrate the impact of third-party, procedure- and quality-focused accreditation like that offered by ACE.
Accreditation plays a significant role in on-boarding operators and maintaining and reinforcing a culture of quality at accredited sites. "Adequate onboarding is critical to maintaining a quality culture and continued reinforcement will assist existing operators," write the authors.
