Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital
Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital (BHVH) was the first North Texas hospital dedicated solely to the care of heart and vascular patients. We take a team approach to patient care, providing technologically advanced treatment. We also offer a host of clinical trials, including trials for atrial fibrillation and arrythmias, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, PVD, valve disease and more. Notable trials include CoreValve® and VIRGO. In addition, we offer educational programs, including an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program, a Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program and an annual Cardiovascular Symposium attended by hundreds of cardiovascular clinical staff from a tri-state area. BHVH also is active in the community and is a key sponsor of the Dallas Caruth Initiative–a coordinated effort among 15 Dallas County hospitals and 25 EMS agencies to streamline protocols to reduce the amount of time it takes AMI patients to receive potentially lifesaving treatment. For the past three years, BHVH has had the nation's lowest readmission rate for heart failure patients and continues to receive a five-star rating by HealthGrades. We are recognized as a Joint Commission Top Performer in Key Quality Measures, and ranked as one of the "Top 50 Hospitals With the Best Patient Ratings" by Becker's Hospital Review.
